Scarlett offers studio-quality connectivity, including Hi-Z, instrument and line inputs, ADAT, S/PDIF, and MIDI. Hi-Z ensures great guitar tones, while line inputs facilitate synths, outboard gear, and all other analogue devices. ADAT and S/PDIF enable I/O channel expansion.

Simply hit the button and play for ten seconds — Auto Gain will set the perfect level for up to eight preamps. Scarlett chooses the optimal gain setting to make the most of its massive dynamic range, while giving you plenty of headroom.

Clip Safe means you’ll never lose a take.

Clip Safe automatically adjusts the gain if you’re at risk of clipping, protecting your audio from unwanted distortion by monitoring your levels up to 96,000 times a second — more precisely than even the most meticulous studio engineer.

Air’s analogue Presence mode enhances clarity, emulating the classic ISA sound to make vocals, instruments, and drums stand out in a track. The new DSP-based Harmonic Drive mode adds vintage warmth and punch — recreating the sound of a big studio console.
