It’s fitting that we should celebrate the 40th year of the Focusrite brand with a new addition to the fourth-generation Scarlett range. In its usual livery, Scarlett acknowledges the original Red Range, which brought colour to the racks of monochrome outboard. Scarlett 2i2 Anniversary Edition’s aluminium chassis proudly displays our historic ff logo — which originally stood for “foundations first”. Fitting, given the gear it originally appeared on laid the foundations for everything we’ve done since.
…and a hidden nod to our heritage underneath
The underside of the Scarlett 2i2 Anniversary Edition features a silkscreened tribute to some of our earliest audio-engineering creations. The artwork is inspired by the schematics for the ISA 110 preamp/EQ and our Studio Console.
