These terms and conditions (the "Rules") apply to the Damian Taylor Mix (the "Competition"). By entering the Competition, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules.
The Competition is organised by Focusrite Audio Engineering Limited incorporated and registered in England and Wales with company number 02357989 whose registered office is at Windsor House, Turnpike Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire HP12 3FX (“Focusrite”).
To enter the Competition for a chance to win you must complete the following steps:
Purchase any Focusrite ISA product or a Red 1 500 interface then register that product on Focusrite’s website between March 1st and August 31st.
Upload an original track to Focusrite’s website & enter your contact details between September 1st and September 13th.
There is one prize. The prize is a mix of your submitted track by top recording engineer Damian Taylor.
Focusrite will shortlist the top 5 best mixes to give to Damian Taylor. Damian Taylor will then pick a winner.
Your track must be original and not violate any third party copyright. You must ensure you have obtained explicit permission from all relevant copyright owners before uploading your track.
All winners will be advertised on our social feeds (Facebook, Twitter, Google +). Only three tracks may be submitted by each entrant.
By claiming a prize, you hereby warrant that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Focusrite reserve the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants.
The email address you provide on the Competition entry form will be used to contact you in the event that you win so please make sure this is correct. If you are a prize winner then Focusrite may require you to prove your identity including a proof of your address. Examples of identification documents would include, passport, driving licence and utility bills.
The Competition is void in all countries where prohibited or restricted by law.
By using the Website and entering the Competition (and you warrant that) you are aged 18 or over and that you are not an employee (or a family member of an employee) of Focusrite, Novation or any company (including any subsidiaries) involved in operating or sponsoring the Competition or awarding any prizes. Focusrite reserve the right to disqualify any entrant if it has reasonable grounds to believe the entrant has breached any of the Rules.
The Competition starts at 09.00 GMT on 02 March 2015
The Competition ends at 16.00 GMT on 31 August 2015
The winner will be notified on 25 September 2015.
There is no charge to register for use of the Website.
Failure to claim a prize by 05 October 2015 may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
The winner will receive their mix before 31 October 2015
Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Focusrite reserve the right to substitute prizes for prizes of equal or greater value at any time.
Focusrite cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant entering the Competition or as a result of accepting any prize. Focusrite is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination of these, including any injury or damage to entrant's or any other person's computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the Competition. Nothing shall exclude Focusrite's liability for death or personal injury as a result of its negligence.
Winners may be requested to take part in promotional activity and Focusrite reserves the right to use the names and addresses of winners, any equipment the winner may use, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
Focusrite reserve the right to cancel or amend the Competition or the Rules without notice. Any changes will be amended to these terms and conditions.
The Competition and Rules will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England. Focusrite make no representation that materials on the Website relating to this Competition are appropriate or available for use at all locations and it is your responsibility to ensure that by accessing the Website and entering the Competition is illegal or strictly prohibited by the laws of the country you are in.
