This update contains the latest version of Scarlett MixControl and all drivers required to get up and running with your Scarlett interface.

Fixes

- Enables Standalone Mode for Scarlett 18i20*
- Fixes 18i8 input table

*To enable standalone mode, install this beta version of Scarlett MixControl, and open the software with your 18i20 connected. Once this version of Scarlett MixControl has been connected to the unit once (as described above), Standalone Mode should function as outlined in the 18i20 User Guide.

 

Note for Scarlett 18i8 users

If you are an 18i8 user and are updating from an earlier version of Scarlett MixControl, please follow the steps below to ensure you fix the input routing issue mentioned above. You will also need to delete any snapshots created with earlier versions of Scarlett MixControl.

- Install this update
- Restore Factory Defaults (from the ScMC menu)
- Save to Hardware (from the ScMC menu)

Scarlett 18i6 iPad Mappings

To use the Scarlett 8i6/18i6 with an iPad follow these instructions:

  1.     Download the Scarlett Mix Control iPad mappings found on this page
  2.     From Scarlett Mix Control select File->Open
  3.     Load the required mapping
  4.     With the 8i6/18i6 connected, select File->Save to Hardware
  5.     You may now connect the 8i6/18i6 to an iPad via the camera connection kit

N.B. The 8i6/18i6 is not bus powered and requires the supplied external PSU at all times
